Since 2019, we’ve partnered with VetPartners to support the development of their people. What began as a need to create a central learning space evolved into a platform that brings together VetPartners’ internally created content alongside Hemsley Fraser learning resources, providing a single place for teams to access learning and development.
Initially introduced to support people skills development across the organisation, the Hub has grown into the central home for learning across VetPartners, bringing together mandatory training, internal resources and professional development in one accessible place. Following strong adoption, the partnership was renewed in 2024, expanding the Hub across the full VetPartners user base.
The Challenge
As VetPartners continued to grow, they needed a simple and engaging way to make learning accessible across a large network of practices.
Alongside their clinical expertise, teams across the organisation benefit from developing the people skills that support effective teamwork, communication and great customer experiences. At the same time, the organisation needed a reliable way to host mandatory training and internal learning resources while keeping learning engaging rather than purely compliance-driven.
VetPartners were looking for one place where teams could access essential learning, development resources and practical skills support, in a way that worked alongside the demands of busy veterinary practice life.
The Solution
Our partnership led to the creation of a branded VetPartners Learning Hub — a central place where teams can access learning, resources and development whenever they need it. What began as a space for human skills development has grown into the primary home for learning across the organisation.
Today, the Hub hosts a wide range of learning experiences, including people skills development on topics such as effective meetings, developing others, challenging conversations, customer service and employee engagement.
Alongside this, the Hub also supports essential compliance and wellbeing learning, giving teams access to practical training and resources covering areas such as workplace safety, professional development tracking, and mental health and stress awareness. The platform is also used to host internal learning resources, including clinical content developed by VetPartners.
By bringing these different elements together in one place, the Hub provides a simple and accessible way for teams across VetPartners to engage with learning — supporting both day-to-day performance and ongoing development.
The Impact
The Learning Hub has become a widely used and trusted home for learning across VetPartners, supporting both development and essential training across the organisation.
In 2025 alone:
- 23,000+ visits to the Learning Hub
- 2,000+ new visitors joined the platform
- 13,000+ hours of learning completed
- 91,000+ instances of content being shared across teams
