The certification gives more credibility and recognizes knowledge of agile principles and practices across agile methodologies (including Scrum, Lean, Kanban, etc.), not simply limiting a practitioner to one agile approach.

Learning Journeys

For our learning journeys we use our proven excite, engage, embed method to ensure the learning experience is engaging and the learning is sustained. The full details of the programme are shown below.

  • The course has a duration of 36 hours and you’ll be able to claim following PDUs: • Technical: 10.50 • Leadership: 8.75 • Strategic: 1.75

  • This is available for individuals, groups and teams

The journey is currently divided into 9 sessions of 4 hours, including a 3 hour exam can be taken in a test center or online

On the first day of training you will get access to the X-AM tool which is accessible during 12 months, as well as the digital copy of the PMI-ACP® Exam Prep book.
After the course you’ll get a certificate from STS which you can use when you register for the Exam.

Following the training and prior to the exam date, the trainer is available to support you individually, via an online communication tool or by email, to clarify any open points for the exam preparation.

 

This course is targeted to:
• Agile coaches and Scrum Masters
• Product owners, responsible to deliver value and represent stakeholders
• Everybody with a genuine interest in doing Agile correctly
• Team members who are involved in an Agile environment


To be eligible for the PMI®-ACP exam you need to fulfil following criteria:
• Secondary degree
• 21 contact hours of training in agile practices (covered with this course)
• 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP.
• 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years

While strictly covering the ECO (exam content outline), our experienced, certified instructor facilitate class discussions, activities and use case studies to bring the material to life in real project environments. The training is intended to be as interactive as possible and give the possibility to exchange, discuss examples. Our live training courses are supplemented with an exam simulation tool – X-AM (PMI-ACP®) which includes approximately 700 test questions. In parallel, as well as after the workshops, the participants are requested to intensively work on the PMI® specific contents with the help of the training material, and the exam simulator X-AM. It is strongly recommended to take the exam latest 4-6 weeks after the last course day. The training is held in English; the course material is available in English as well. Our instructor will be available to accompany and coach you until you receive your PMI-ACP® certification.

The content of the course is roughly split as follows:

  • Performance-Based Activities: The students will perform hands-on activities based on assigned case studies
  • Sample Questions: The students will work on the sample questions. The structure of the questions is similar to the real PMI-ACP® exam questions
  • Case Studies: Real-life case studies will be covered during the course
  • Supplementary Information: Examples and other supplementary information will be presented to the students
