This 90-minute virtual session starts by addressing what is meant by workplace politics, and what the positive and negative elements are that exist that need to managed and worked within. Hogans social needs are introduced to frame the theory behind what people need and want and how that affects behaviour and ultimately the environment too.
The session goes onto look at formal and informal hierarchies and how they affect politics, and the final part of the session looks at the concept of clean and dirty politics.
This session is suitable for anyone who wants to know more about handling politics in the workplace.
