Global learning and engagement experts, Hemsley Fraser, have been working with AstraZeneca, the UK’s foremost pharmaceutical organization, in order to create resources for leaders and employees amid the current crisis.

The toolkit compiles content which supports individuals still working through this pandemic, whether from home or in their usual workplaces. A further toolkit aimed at leaders gives advice on how to lead in a time of uncertainty, with topics such as building trust and productive relationships, communicating through Covid-19 and virtual coaching and collaboration.

Both toolkits have caught the attention of the UN World Food program and work is now being done to produce a UN version to distribute across their organization and other partners.

All of the content has been made available without restriction, meaning that anyone can access it. This includes exclusive resources from Hemsley Fraser. Todd Turner, CEO Hemsley Fraser, said: “We’ve seen a huge increase in demand for virtual and online learning since the beginning of this pandemic, so I hope that these resources provide support to individuals during this crisis. In order to support users, we have built this content to be engaging, with practical advice which can be accessed at the point of need.

The toolkits were originally produced for internal use at AstraZeneca, but the company decided to make the resources available to anyone, to support those still working. Laura Beattie, Global Enterprise Learning Manager AstraZeneca, who led the project, said: “It is not often that we, as learning professionals, are able to give such tangible support in times of crisis so we are delighted to be able to do this.

There has been a huge interest in the toolkits internally, with more than 11,000 downloads in a matter of weeks. We are facing unprecedented times in both our professional and personal lives, so there is a real desire for information and resources to help manage this time. We hope that people find these resources useful, inspiring and valuable during this pandemic, and that we all leave this crisis more resilient than ever.”

Hemsley Fraser are working to support individuals and organizations during this unprecedented challenge.
