This 90-minute session focuses on three key elements of objective setting: preparing to write objectives, getting buy-in and writing SMART objectives for both tasks and behavior. The session will enable you to make tangible connections between individual and team objectives and organizational strategy preparing you to successfully prepare and deliver appropriate objectives to your team.
This short session is suitable for anyone in a management role who is responsible for setting objectives for their team members.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
- illustrate how team and individual objectives contribute to organizational goals
- write task and behavior objectives that meet the ‘SMART‘ criteria
- use a structure to discuss and agree objectives with individuals
