On this course we explore how to flex your individual communication style to positively influence your stakeholders and motivate them to adopt your perspective.
You will use two key models to leverage different organisational sources of power and to increase your influence by applying different styles to suit different individuals and situations.
You will also explore the purpose and benefits of persuasion and learn how to use a range of approaches to persuasion, based on Cialdini’s six universal truths. This is a highly practical course, and you will practice a range of techniques and benefit from peer coaching.
This course is suitable for anyone who would like to get better at influencing and persuading their key decision-makers and stakeholders.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Define influencing and persuading, and when to use each one
