This course addresses the connection between resilience and our ability to work positively. It explores the physical, emotional and mental aspects of sustaining optimum levels of energy and pressure, to help you to remain focused and deliver high performance.

 

This course is suitable for anyone who would like to improve their personal resilience and their ability to deal more positively with situations at work.

We all face challenges, disappointments, and setbacks in our private and professional lives: that's not going to change. But it's not the nature of the challenges themselves that determine the outcomes - it's how we respond to them that makes the difference. Responding with resilience - physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially enables us not just to survive - but to thrive.

Building resilience increases our capacity to cope with adversityand setbacks - it is a reservoir of psychological strength that we can call upon when we need it.  Instead of hiding from their challenges or using unhelpful coping mechanisms, resilient people face them head-on and with an optimistic outlook. Working with resilience doesn't eliminate problems or difficulties, but it does enable us to put them into perspective and to bounce back positively.

The good news is that you can learn to be more resilient.

This 90-minute workshop will equip you with practical techniques you can use to respond with more energy and positivity to life's inevitable struggles, putting things into context and controlling your emotional reaction. This should improve your productivity and reduce the risk of burning out.
