This 90-minute virtual course looks at some specific areas of employment law, goes onto define the nine protected characteristics under the equality act and considers how discrimination can show itself during the recruitment process. Through case studies participants will be able to distinguish what constitutes discrimination. Data protection is also referenced, before the two important areas of retention and release of staff are worked through.
