Paul Longanbach

Paul has been active in the training design and performance development fields for more than 25 years in a wide range of Federal agencies, including the Office of Personnel Management, the Departments of Agriculture, Interior, State, and Transportation; the Office of Personnel Management (OPM); the Federal Communications Commission; the Federal Aviation Administration; and the United States Postal Service. He has served as co-chair of the Federal Human Resources Development Council, served on the President’s Task Force on Learning Technology from 1999-2000, and has directed government-wide Human Resource Development research and evaluation projects for OPM. He has expertise and innovative practice in training and organizational development, performance consulting, organizational transformation, and HRM system design and evaluation. He has proven success in combining team-focused managerial abilities, technical expertise with problem solving and strong interpersonal skills to implement systemic change and large-scale initiatives focused on achieving strategic outcomes. Paul has received the American Society for Training Development (ASTD) Torch Award for outstanding service to the Society and the ASTD Public Sector Forum’s Pioneer Award.
