Lynne C Couture

Lynne’s past leadership experience includes positions at a Fortune 500 company, owner of a retail store/mail order business and an Executive Director of a non-profit organization. Lynne was in the positions of Enterprise-wide Learning and Development for Quality Improvement and Manager of Process Improvement at AVON Products. At AVON she facilitated key strategic meetings, provided problem solving training, co-designed and helped implement the company’s TQM program, and implemented national quality management programs.

As Executive Director of a non-profit economic development organization - RACE for Quality of Management - she was responsible for creating the Rhode Quality Award, the state version of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the Mentor training program. This combination of entrepreneurial, corporate, and not-for-profit experience lends real-world credibility to Lynne’s interaction with participants in her workshops.

Lynne also is on the human resource editorial board of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation. She delivers training for the CMEA, The Employers Association and is an adjunct faculty member for Rhode island and Massachusetts Community Colleges. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development. Lynne holds certifications in the following: DiSC Indra, Emotional Intelligence, Achieve Global – Leadership for Results, Genuine Leadership and NxLevel Entrepreneur trainer. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Business from The American University of Paris.
