Achim Nowak
Achim has over six years experience as a seminar leader for a prominent learning organization. This work involved the facilitation of workshops on every aspect of human performance improvement throughout North America and Europe, as well as strategic consultation with numerous Fortune 500 companies and the delivery of customized programs. In this capacity, Achim worked extensively with industry leaders in many areas of business and government. In addition, he served as the Program Director for a renowned conflict resolution program at one of the country’s leading universities. He has been recognized for this work through appearances on “The Today Show” and “60 Minutes” and through frequent facilitation on international conflict resolution projects. He served on the faculty of New York University for ten years and currently teaches Public Speaking at the UMass School of Management. Achim’s book Power Speaking: The Art of the Exceptional Public Speaker (Allworth Press/2004) highlights his transformative approach to the development of public speakers, based on two decades of coaching award-winning performers and business leaders. Achim’s certifications include a Training and Development Diploma from Langevin Learning Services and Mediation Training at the Brooklyn Courts in New York City. Achim is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He holds a B.A. Degrees in Psychology and Theatre Arts from George Washington University and a M.A. in Organizational Psychology and International Relations from New York University.
